Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the RenewShot app and website. By using RenewShot you agree to them.

1. The service

RenewShot processes photos you submit — restoring, sharpening, colorizing, editing backgrounds, expanding, upscaling and generating styled headshots. Processing happens on our servers and the servers of our processing providers, and results are delivered back to your device.

2. Accounts

You need an account to process photos. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure. You can delete your account at any time in the app; deletion is permanent.

3. Subscriptions

• PRO is offered as auto-renewing subscriptions (weekly $4.99, yearly $49.99 — prices in USD; local prices shown in the App Store) billed through your Apple ID.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Any free trial or introductory offer, if available, is provided through the App Store and applies once per Apple ID.
• The free plan includes a limited number of full-quality renewals per month whose results remain locked until you subscribe.
• Fair use: PRO includes up to 200 photo renewals per month.

4. Your content and rights

• Your photos remain yours. You grant us only the limited licence needed to process them and deliver results to you.
• Only submit photos you have the right to use. Don't submit photos of others without their permission.
• You may use your results for personal or commercial purposes.

5. Acceptable use

• No unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
• No use of ID Photo or any tool to create deceptive identity documents or to impersonate anyone.
• No attempts to misuse, overload, reverse-engineer or circumvent the service, its quotas or its paywall.
• We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

6. Important disclaimer about restored content

Restoration and enhancement are computational reconstructions. Where a photo is badly damaged — especially across faces — the result is a lifelike approximation and reconstructed details may differ from the original subject. Results are provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy.

7. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep RenewShot fast and available, but the service is provided without uptime guarantees and features may change. We'll never remove a paid capability mid-period without a fair remedy.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of the photos you submit — keep your originals.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country of residence where consumer law requires, and otherwise by the laws of the operator's place of establishment.
