Privacy Policy

RenewShot ("we", "us") is a photo-restoration app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what happens to your data. The short version: your photos are processed only to serve you, are automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours, and are never used to train any model.

1. Photos you process

• When you renew a photo, it is uploaded over an encrypted connection to our processing service and passed to our image-processing infrastructure to produce your result.
• Originals and results are stored temporarily and deleted automatically within 24 hours by a storage lifecycle rule.
• We do not use your photos to train, fine-tune or improve any model, and we do not share them with anyone except the processing providers acting on our instructions.
• For the Pro Headshots feature, the selfies you upload are used solely to create your personal style model; that model is used only for your own generations and is deleted if you delete your account.

2. Your account

• An account (Apple, Google or email sign-in) is required to process photos. We store your email address and a unique account identifier with our authentication provider (Supabase).
• Passwords are handled by the authentication provider; we never see or store them in plain text.
• You can delete your account permanently from inside the app (Settings → Delete account). This removes your account record and disables access immediately; any temporary photo files expire within 24 hours as usual.

3. Subscriptions and payments

• Payments are processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We never receive or store your card details.
• We use RevenueCat to validate subscription status. It receives your anonymous app user identifier and purchase receipts — never your payment details.

4. Support tickets

• If you open a support ticket in the app, we store the messages you write so we can reply. Don't include sensitive information in tickets.

5. What we don't do

• No advertising networks, no third-party trackers, no sale of personal data — ever.
• No access to your photo library beyond the photos you explicitly pick.

6. Legal bases and retention

We process your data to perform our contract with you (processing the photos you submit, managing your subscription) and for our legitimate interest in running a reliable, abuse-free service (rate limits, fraud prevention). Photos: up to 24 hours. Account data: until you delete your account. Support tickets: up to 24 months.

7. Children

RenewShot is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Most of these you can exercise directly in the app; for anything else, contact us and we'll help.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
